A day in the life of an ITT

As an ITT, instructional technology teacher, I find that my day is split between supporting teachers and modeling lessons. Below is roughly a week in the life of an ITT.


Monday,  Jan 14, 2013 WV, HUT, RSM, RYN
7:30-8:00 Wendy for Edmodo Privacy Signature, Check in with Language arts Department Head, Check in with principal and librarian.
8:30-11:00  Teach a lesson at WV for iMovie and Copyright Lessons
11:15- 1:00 Support a teacher to learn how to add Copier Printers
1:00-2:15 Worked with a language arts teacher to learn to use Turnitin with students.
2:15-2:30 Met briefly at beginning of staff meeting to enroll participants for Google Apps and Venier Training. 
2:30-3:00 Teacher canceled and rescheduled for Infographic Lesson, Edmodo Privacy Signatures
Tuesday, Jan 15th, Hut
No School Ice Day
7:15-12:00 Canceled and Rescheduled iPad Pool Manager Training for Hutch
Wednesday, Jan 16th WV, NPH, RSM, RYN
7:15-8:30 PLC for WV Foreign Language. Reviewed iMovie, discussed Distance Education
8:45-11:00 RSM teach an Infographic Lesson for Journalism Class
12:00-2:00 NPH worked with SpEd Teachers to maintain their iPads
2:00-2:30  Provided technical support to librarian for  iPads
2:30-2:45 Meet with principal and discuss Distance Ed and iPads and Printers

Thursday, January  17th, 2013 NPH,  Hutch, RYN
7:15-7:45 Check in with teacher for Distance Delivery Presentation Next day
8:00-9:45 Observe distance ed calculus class
10:00-10:30 Meeting with ITT's for planning
10:30-11:00 Drive to Hutch and test call with Librarian and ITT
11:00-11:30 Lunch
11:30-2:15 Drive to Admin Center. Pick up laptop and work on GPS lesson.
2:30-3:00 Teach iMovie News , taught camera angles. Checked bubble charts.
Friday, Friday January 18th, 2013 Hutch, WV
7:45-12:00 Taught Turnitin for HUT classes
12:00-2:30 WV for VC demo
2:30-3:00 Hutch to help teachers with Weebly. Met with teacher for Google Earth Lessons.
